Our Hygienists

Arlene Breda – Hygienist

Arlene originally qualified as a nurse in Zimbabwe in 1981. After leaving Zimbabwe to pursue her career in London, she then qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1990 from Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital. Since qualifying, she has been working at various dental practices across North West London.

She joined the Orchard Dental Care team in 2018 on a part time basis, and continues to attend courses regularly to update her skills and knowledge.

Arlene is a very experienced hygienist and a good listener, while always dealing with her patients in a calm and caring manner.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys her allotment and is a creative baker.

Aupal Patel – Hygienist

After gaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science from Reading University in 2006, Aupal developed an interest in dentistry and decided to pursue a career in dental hygiene. Aupal completed her training as a hygienist from the renowned Eastman Dental Institute in 2008.

Aupal joined the Orchard Dental Care team in 2019 on a part time basis. She takes pride in her thorough but gentle clinical skills to help patients improve their oral health. She enjoys the challenge of complex periodontal disease cases and especially working with nervous patients and helps ease them through treatments. Aupal is very passionate about the work she does and has a very important role in working alongside dentists to provide excellent oral hygiene care.

When not working, Aupal enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
